The characteristics of geared motors are high efficiency and reliability, long working life, easy maintenance, and wide application. Its number of stages can be divided into single-stage, two-stage and three-stage geared motors, and the installation and arrangement methods are mainly expanded, coaxial and shunt.
1. In the two-stage cylindrical gear motor expansion type, the gear is asymmetric with respect to the support position. When the shaft is bent and twisted, the load is unevenly distributed in the tooth width, so the shaft should be designed with greater rigidity, and the gear should be away from the input End or output.
2. The characteristics of the split type of the two-stage cylindrical gear motor: the position of the extension shaft of the split gear motor can be extended from any side, which is convenient for the overall configuration of the machine. The gears of the split stage are all processed into helical teeth. Turn left to offset the axial force. One of the shafts should be able to do a little axial movement to avoid jamming the gears.
3. Features of coaxial geared motor: compact radial size, but large axial size. Due to the larger intermediate shaft and the greater disturbance of the shaft under load, the load concentration along the tooth width is more serious. At the same time, because the centers of the two-stage gears must be the same, it is difficult to make full use of the load-bearing capacity of the high-speed gears, and it is also difficult to lubricate the bearings located in the middle of the geared motor. The input end and output end of the geared motor are located at both ends of the same axis, which limits the overall configuration of the transmission.
