When to replace the bearings of the reducer Posted by : admin / Posted on : Aug 22, 2020

The reducer will inevitably have various failures after long-term use, especially the bearing. Because this part will wear out with other parts during use, the bearing will be more prone to breakage when used for a long time. When the bearing has an irreparable failure When the bearing needs to be replaced, then, under what circumstances do the bearings need to be replaced? Let's take a look together!
   1. When there is no oil in the reducer, in order to avoid damage to the reducer's bearings, gears, gear shafts and other transmission components, driving should be prohibited.
  2. During operation, if the bearing position is abnormally high, the machine should be shut down to check whether the bearing is damaged. If it is damaged, it should be replaced immediately. Do not operate with failure to avoid damage to other parts and cause greater losses.
   3. During operation, if the bearing position makes noise, stop the machine to check whether the bearing is damaged, and see if the noise is from the bearing, or it may be the sound of gear meshing.
  4. It is recommended to do another overhaul after 7-8 years of normal operation, replace all internal bearings, and inspect and overhaul gears and other transmission components.
When the above 4 kinds of conditions occur in the reducer, we need to replace the bearings in time, and maintain the newly replaced bearings, so that they can be efficiently used in processing and production.
